The maxiumum bet is 5% of the credit in the game, or 500 credits,
whichever is higher.
Most games return on average 95% of bet. Craps returns about 99%.
Six returns 100%. Roulette returns 93.75%. It has been observed
that the casino games make more money than they should just from the
odds favoring the house alone. I speculate that it has to do with
people who won't stop playing until they run out of money.
Slot Machine: Users can only bet 1/15th of what you have in the game
account because the top prize is bet x 15. 15% of bets go to the jackpot,
85% go to you. You cannot access the credit in the jackpot directly.
It is important that this game be backed by a substantial
quantity of credit.
Double or Nothing: Users can bet 1/2 of the game account.
Greed: The game must have at least 1500 credits to operate, and users
are warned if less than 3000 credits are in the game account.
The credit commands transfer the credit out of the game account into
your personal account, then allow you to transfer a set amount back.
This is just a fancy way of asking how much you want in the game
account.
The game operator is trusted to keep plenty of credit in the game
account to sustain temporary losses and high bets. If low funds
continue for too long, the sysop retains the right to take possession
of the game. You should keep nearly all of your credit in the
game account.
Recommended minimums to keep in game accounts:
Slot Machine 30000
Double or Nothing 15000
Greed 6000
Craps 15000
Roulette 30000
Six 15000
The Set Owner commands allow you to transfer control of the game
to someone else. This would usually be used when selling the
game to another user.
